Andrea Bonime-Blanc
Andrea Bonime-Blanc, JD/PhD, is founder & CEO of GEC Risk Advisory (https://gecrisk.com/). She focuses on the governance of change, including strategies for addressing rapid tech, risk, impact and ethics challenges and change, advising business, NGOs, and government.
Formerly a global c-suite executive (Bertelsmann, Verint, PSEG), she serves on several boards and advisory boards.
She is an Independent Ethics Advisor to the Financial Oversight & Management Board for Puerto Rico, an Independent Integrity Advisor to the Platform for Social Impact, a Founding Faculty for the Institute for Directors Malaysia Mandatory ESG Certification Program, and a Life Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
She was named to the 2023 Governance 100 by Diligent, the 2022 Directorship 100 by the NACD, and Onalytica’s Top 50 ESG Influencers. She is a global keynote speaker and widely published author and book author, including Gloom to Boom: How Leaders Transform Risk into Resilience and Value (Routledge 2020) and Governing Pandora: Leading in the Age of Generative AI and Exponential Technology to be published in late 2025.
She was raised in Germany and Spain, and lives in New York City.
